Frequently Asked Questions
They are made in house by Ikonick USA using our own stringent quality control standards. Making them ourselves means consistent weight and dimensions from batch to batch.
55 grain is the classic AR-15 weight and stabilizes in every common twist rate. It is the most economical way to load high volume .223 and 5.56 practice ammunition.
FMJBT stands for full metal jacket boat tail. The tapered boat tail base reduces drag for a more stable flight path at distance, and it also helps the bullet seat squarely in the case mouth.
.223 projectiles for this caliber are .224 inch diameter. Always confirm bullet diameter against your load data before loading.
No. These are projectiles only, not loaded ammunition. You will also need cases, primers and powder.
Projectiles are sold in bulk quantities of 500 or 1,000. The 1,000 count is the better value per bullet for regular loading.
